The sports mega mega event is nearing it’s end. Those used to drawing room debates over a cup of coffee (or glass after glass of liquor) are busy twisting their tongues in criticism of our sportspersons for not being able to manage medals. MEDALS! For whom?  Does a nation wherein it’s people have not learnt to love and respect it’s sportspersons for their shear untiring efforts and the spirit of participa? People who will clap only for winners OR for those corrupt politicians who ensure the nation’s lose? Nation wherein each and every person want one child to become an Engineer or a Doctor or a badaa babu (IAS), but NOT, oh NOT a SPORTSPERSON!
Don’t blame athletes. Look at the kind of treatment and facilities they actually get!
The bloody suckers who accompany our sportsperson in the name of taking care of participants but gobble up most of the funds leaving sportspersons at the mercy of Almighty are the real culprits.
Same story back home.
What fraction of funds ment for sportspersons actually reach them? What is our infrastructure??
Take the example of aquatic sports!  Why even the national capital has ONLY ONE all weather swimming pool of international  ?stand?ards? ?
Poor sportspersons have to come to practice traveling long distances, often a hundred kilometer or so spending money from own pockets, WHY? Will anyone explain why nearly all the swimming pools (many with muddy waters) remain closed for 6 months in a year for winter – What a criminal waste of taxpayers’ money? We make them practice in village ponds and want them to win medals in Olympics, what a shame on us!
What our nation is doing for them? And then expectations are there to match performance with USA and China? Isn’t it utterly SHAMEFUL on part of our Go, Our Politicians, Our Bureaucrats?
Dipa getting fourth position with these rotten facilities, under the stinking stinging babudom and corruption king politicians is indeed a miracle equivalent to a Fifty Gold medals by a nation like USA. SALUTE to our SPORTSPERSONS.

His Master’s Voice OR Your OWN Conscience, YOUR INNER VOICE: You Decide!

Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shree #NarendraModi deserves applause and congratulations for boldly exposing the NaPAK acts of Pakistan and speaking out in support of victims of Pakistan’s inhuman atrocities in PoK and Baluchistan. But are you surprised by the statement made by Shree Salman Khurshid?

Doesn’t this reminds of “His Master’s Voice”! Not long ago another one from the lot was found inviting Pakistan to oust Indian Prime Minister. Hopefully people do remember the adharmee guy sinking the surname Iyer.

Please Recall that about  eight centuries ago one Jaichand had become instrumental in defeat of great warrior and patriot King Prithvi Raaj Chauhan, resulting in uncountable Murderers Rapes and forced conversions of natives of Bhaaratvarsh.

But what else one can expect from those notorious for such activities from the days of India’s freedom struggle. People for whom Firangeez were “super intellectual Raajeshwar Bhaarat Bhaagya Vidhaataa ” Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was violent, Krantikaarees Shaheeds like Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Aazaad, Ram Prasaad Bismil,,,,  were terrorists, who declared ceasefire when Indian forces were rapidly pushing NaPakeez back in Kashmir – the land of Braham Rishi Kashyap and Puru the great, who kept on meekly returning the land won over by India’s Armed Forces in wars against the aggressor NaPAK Pakistan,  who were silent when Kashmiri Pandits were being butchered in hundreds and thousands but whose leaders weep when terrorists are killed?????

Haven’t we had enough of Jaichands and Kankars and Moniiz and Dynasties and their boot lickers & mouthpieces
Can we sleep in peace if innocents in our neighborhood are being brutalized raped murdered. You are WRONG Mr Salman Khurshid, Inhuman atrocities in PoK and Baluchistan cannot be internal concern of #NaPAK #Pakistan. The country has had enough of your blood sucking, sickening, rubbish ways of governance, already rejected by the People of India. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND OVER, ISN’T IT TIME FOR CHANGE

On this Independance Day, please do read this msg sent by a friend, think over it and contemplate after going through yet another but important and relevant message in the VIDEO:-
The average age of the Army Man is 23 years.

He is a short haired, tight-muscled kid who, under normal circumstances is considered by society as half man, half boy.

Not yet dry behind the ears, not old enough to buy a beer in the capital of his country, but old enough to die for his country.

He’s a recent school or college graduate;

he was probably an average student from one of the Kendriya Vidyalayas,

pursued some form of sport activities, drives a rickety bicycle,

and had a girlfriend that either broke up with him when he left for IMA, or swears to be waiting when he returns from half a world away.

He listens to rock and roll or hip -hop or bhangra or gazals and a 155mm howitzer.

He is 5 or 7 kilos lighter now than when he was at home because he is working or fighting the insurgents or standing guard on the icy Himalayas from before dawn to well after dusk or he is at Mumbai engaging the terrorists.

He has trouble spelling, thus letter writing is a pain for him,

but he can field strip a rifle in 30 seconds and reassemble it in less time in the dark.

He can recite to you the nomenclature of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either one effectively if he must.

He digs foxholes and latrines and can apply first aid like a professional.

He can march until he is told to stop, or stop until he is told to march.

He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation, but he is not without spirit or individual dignity.

His pride and self-respect, he does not lack.

He is self-sufficient.

He has two sets of combat dress: he washes one and wears the other.

He keeps his water bottle full and his feet dry.

He sometimes forgets to brush his teeth, but never to clean his rifle.

He can cook his own meals, mend his own clothes, and fix his own wounds.

If you’re thirsty, he’ll share his water with you; if you are hungry, his food.

He’ll even split his ammunition with you in the midst of battle when you run low.

He has learned to use his hands like weapons and weapons like they were his hands.

He can save your life – or take it, because he’s been trained for both.

He will often do twice the work of a civilian, draw half the pay, and still find ironic humor in it all.

He has seen more suffering and death than he should have in his short lifetime.

He has wept in public and in private, for friends who have fallen in combat and is unashamed to do so.

He feels every note of the Jana Gana Mana vibrate through his body while at rigid attention, while tempering the burning desire to ‘square-away’ those around him who haven’t bothered to stand, remove their hands from their pockets, or even stop talking.

In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from home, he defends their right to be disrespectful.

Just as did his Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, he is paying the price for our freedom.

A tricolour, somewhere in his uniform,

A tricolour, he holds high,

A tricolour he unfurls with pride after every misson.

Sometimes he comes home wrapped in one.

Beardless or not, he is not a boy.

He is your nation’s Fighting Man that has kept this country free and defended your right to Freedom.

He has experienced deprivation and adversity, and has seen his buddies falling to bullets and maimed and blown.

And he smiles at the irony of the IAS babu and politician reducing his status year after year and the unkindest cut of all, even reducing his salary and asking why he should get 14 eggs a week free! And when he silently whispers in protest, the same politician and babu aghast, suggest he’s mutinying!

Wake up citizens of India! Let’s begin discriminating between the saviours of India and destroyers
Are you with the Faujis❓
If you are, then share this till it reaches every Patriotic Indian.

Shouldn’t #Karnataka Government’s ruling political Bosses including the super-bosses in New Delhi and their suckers in Bengaluru be Shameful enough to hang their heads in a GUTTER for forcing demolition of house of #ColNiranjan in #Bengaluru. Isn’t this a shameless gift from the corrupt and ungrateful politicians and babus to the family of Lt Col Niranjan, a Martyr who is being honored posthumously with Shourya Chakra? All this when for decades the #Builder  #Mafia in Bengaluru, presumably hand in gloves with coward politicians has been eating away Bengaluru’s beautiful lakes & drains for constructing concrete jungles, minting quick money.

Will these coward political Bosses and their corrupt Chamchaas, so eager to wipe out proof of their incompetence, inefficiencies and corruption by hurriedly demolishing common citizen’s houses they might have allowed earlier in collusion with builder mafia, have guts to declare under oath on an affidavit that every inches of the buildings owned by them or their kins,  palatial houses or smaller flats or the commercial ones, is as per norms and fully authorised?

IF NOT, WHAT MORAL RIGHT DID THEY HAVE TO DEMOLISH THE HOUSE OF Col Niranjan. Before touching any commoner’s house,  especially the one belonging to a Martyr, SHOULDN’T each and every unauthorized building owned by such selfish politicians be raised to ground?
Shouldn’t Ms #Sonia Gandhi and #Rahul Gandhi being bosses of the political party ruling in Karnataka, UNCONDITIONALLY APOLOGIZE TO THE FAMILY OF Col Niranjan and to the Nation for harassing the Martyr’s family?
Please do give a thought and seek answers to these pertinent questions.

Words of Wisdom

Words of wisdom:

“When you send your money out, remember always to bless it.     Ask it to bless everybody that it touches, and command it to go out and feed the hungry and clothe the naked, and command it to come back  a millionfold!”

Over the next few days, why not tryout and see what happens??

When you pay for your groceries, silently bless all those who have helped bring this food to you: the farmers, the delivery people, the store clerks….

Paying for your children’s education, silently bless their teachers, the helping staff, the watermen, and so on..

When buying that newspaper or magazine off the rack in a convenience store, bless the person who is toiling behind the counter, the people in the chain from the journalists,  writers, editors, printers…  and hope the money adds value to the quality of their life!!

“The hand that gives is the hand that gathers!!”

Indeed, blessings and good wishes have a unique quality of silently coming back multiplied by a factor directly proportional to the sincerity and purity of givers thoughts with which blessings and good wishes are given. Incidentally, the bad wishes too return back but with a multiplication factor that is many times bigger.

Last but the most important: the returns is highest,  ultimate when the blessings and good wishes are given with NO EXPECTATIONS FOR RETURNS OR ANY ATTACHMENTS.

सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनौ, सर्वे सन्तु निरामया:।

सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु, मा कश्चित दुःख भागभवेत।।

A Few Blocking India’s Legitimate Entry to NSG: World Prepares For Greater Pollution

The air we breathe knows no boundaries.CAN EVEN the worst dictatorial nations like China or those among the most powerful ones like US or those far far away like Australia or Brazil or Switzerland or Austria or New Zealand or Turkey, or the ROGUE TERROR-STATE naPAK………..       …,irrespective of the fact whether or not members of #NSG (Nuclear Suppliers Group),  stop the winds bringing CLEAN or POLLUTED air from blowing across their skies. Thus, the People of the Nations that have been working overtime to block India’s entry to the NSG on one pretext or other, need to understand and realize that India’s WELL DESERVING ENTRY to NSG is MORE in their own interests than that of India’s.

India, the largest and most populous DEMOCRACY, among the oldest, the most mature and peaceful civilisations on earth, home to about 1.3 billion people constituting about one sixth of total human beings on earth and a VAST nation covering significant surface of World’s largest Continent – Asia, has been blessed by the nature with abundant green coverage including dense Forests, as well as gigantic COAL RESERVES (Already the known reserves within 1200 meters of depth exceed 300 billion tons http://coal.nic.in/content/coal-reserves) . Indeed in the comparison #NuclearVsCoal, NuclearEnergy, though far more expensive, is the best option for India as well as for the global environment, Coal being the WORST.  Already world’s 6th largest consumer of energy, commensurate with it’s being rapidly developing nation and the fastest growing economy,  it’s energy requirements will grow and grow and grow.

A visit to coal mines will convince one in no time about urgent need to switch over from Coal as primary source of energy to cleaner sources. What could have been dense Forests emitting life giving Oxygen and consuming millions of tons of Carbon dioxide – widely believed to be the main culprit behind GLOBAL WARMING,  besides providing shelter, food, medicines and so on to millions.

Add to this about 2.86 tons of Carbon dioxide generated by completely burning each ton of coal for power generation (besides other highly toxic gases that include oxides of Sulfur and Nitrogen that transform themselves into devastating acid rains.

India, being an environmentally conscious and highly responsible nation, in spite of it’s limited resources has been investing heavily on cleaner, though more expensive sources of energy that include Solar, Wind, hydro and NUCLEAR.

Coal should be used as source of chemicals and not for simply burning away.

It is the persistent HYPOCRITIC opposition to India’s fully JUSTIFIED and INDIGENOUS Nuclear Energy Program by some nations fueled by their nefarious agenda and selfish interests kept hidden by generating FEAR PSYCHOSIS against peace-loving India, that in spite of it’s best efforts (under forced isolation and blockades combined with shortages of Conventional Nuclear Fuels) India currently depends on COAL for over 60% of it’s energy needs. CONTINUED BLOCKADES TO NSG is LIKELY to PUSH IT FURTHER, with implications NOT  LIMITED to India’s borders.

The blockades may DELAY but WILL NOT be able to STOP India’s progress, as has been the case with other high-technology areas. India has plenty of Thorium reserves that require the really difficult FAST BREEDER TECHNOLOGY to harness this resource. India is already among world leaders in this area.
Fast breeder process require minimum time duration before Thorium can be safely converted into usable nuclear fuel inside specialised nuclear reactors.

Till then, Shortsightedness, Selfish Interests and Arrogance of handful of Nations, would have made much POLLUTION to have flowed into mother nature globally.

Let’s hope better sense prevails leading to preventable damage to global environment.

What’s Wrong with “The Hindu”???

http://m.thehindu.com/news/international/south-asia/at-least-10-countries-opposed-indias-nsg-bid-at-seoul-says-global-times-editorial/article8783383.ece.           I had consciously decided not to subscribe  “The Hindu” daily newspaper, after reading this nasty article. Not just because I love my country and fellow citizens and their well-being. Not just because the editor of this, once a prestigious daily headquartered in Chennai, knowingly or due to oversight, allowed such Anti-India sentiment to be splashed on the face of newspaper’s credibility.
The article, to me, seems to be a pointer to intellectual bankruptcy of the newspaper I once used to adore. By replicating the Anti-India contents of article originally published in the “State Controlled Media” of China, a nation run by a ruthless dictatorial regime, “The Hindu”, supposed to be a votary of “Freedom of Expression” and “Free Press”, without countering the biased and distorted views propagated in the Chinese article with logical reasoning, Is THE NEWSPAPER INDICATING INCAPABILITY OF IT’S PEOPLE?  Or does “The Hindu” intend to assume the role of a mouthpiece of China’s dictators?

And by reproducing the sentence “Nationalists in India are yet to develop mindset…….”, does “The Hindu” mean it is unethical being a NATIONALIST (and thus ethical being a Traitor).
What’s Wrong? Quo Vadis?

Will someone at helm of affairs at “The Hindu” care to answer?
